When you live as a resident in Spain for more than 2 years, perhaps you will have to change your driving license to a Spanish license.
According to the new EU Law 2006/126/CE, if you live for more than two years as a resident in Spain your driving license renovation will be managed under the Spanish Law. It does not matter if the license from your country does not have an expiry date. According to the Spanish Law the license must be renewed after a period between 2 and 10 years, depending on the age of the driver.
