Flooding in Alicante and Murcia.
As you will have seen in the news, the Alicante and Murcia area have suffered heavy rain fall and flooding in many areas.
Many towns, especially the ones near the rivers and ramblas (water canals) have been affected a lot. If you have any damages, communicate these damages as quick as possible to your home and content insurance.
It is recommended to take as much pictures and video of damages as needed, and if items are to be thrown away due to water damage, please identify them well with a description, take pictures and look for invoices if possible or make a valuation for a similar product on for example internet. If this is not possible, due to the damages piece being antique or so, best not to throw it away until the insurance company has been to visit the property.
